We built a dystopian design fiction around high-tech tupperware to advocate for local food communities

My team conducted research to developed a food management model for food-waste reduction at both the personal and neighborhood level.

We did an ethnographic study with a local food bank, and interviewed local students about their willingness to support food banks and other donation systems.

We found conflict between people's desire to reduce food waste, and their buy-in to personal convenience systems.

We decided to address this conflict by designing the fictional, dystopian product nom.

... and I blogged about it.

Take a deep-dive into the design process, and what I learned about food ecosystems & critical design.
